G5 I2 Blog

 As we enter week 15, our lessons will include multiple concepts from our current story of At the Beach. Students will complete their story summary handout, learn more words from week 15's list, and practice spelling and rules of regular and irregular plural nouns all in preparation for our end-of-the-week unit test. Please also remember that Wednesday, May 22nd, is our grade 5 outing this will interrupt our lessons. I will review with the I2 students on Tuesday, correcting their RWN and reviewing their study notes. We will review all concepts and words on Thursday in preparation for May 24th,  Friday's Unit Test . 

 As we begin week 14 studies of vocabulary and our new story At the Beach, students will need to review more as we are increasing their study skills. I hope the students can begin to focus more and be more diligent in their lessons.  

  Exam 2 has come to an end. Our class average was 59 percent overall, we need to be more attentive and focused on the class lessons. Let's strive for better next time. We are now on our final stretch; here are some words of encouragement. You've come so far : Reflect on how much you've accomplished throughout the school year. Every step you've taken has brought you closer to your goals. Stay focused : Keep your eye on the prize and stay focused on what you want to achieve. The final weeks may feel intense, but your determination will carry you through. Believe in yourself : You have the ability to succeed, even when things seem challenging. Trust in your capabilities and believe that you can overcome any obstacles. Take it one step at a time : Break down your goals into smaller, manageable tasks. By tackling them one at a time, you'll make steady progress toward your ultimate objectives. Stay positive : Maintain a positive attitude, even when faced with setbacks. Y
